No previous experience is necessary for Reiki I. This is an enjoyable one-day training that gives you an understanding of Reiki and its benefits for you and those around you.

Elements covered in this class include:

• The Reiki Precepts, integrating awareness into daily life
• A brief history of Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki
• An explanation of the three levels of Reiki
• Vibration sensing exercises
• Reiki I Attunement/Initiation
• Three Pillars of Reiki
• Hands-on practice of the basic Reiki hand positions for self & others
• A Reiki I handbook
• A Reiki I Certificate of Completion and Lineage
• The opportunity to assist in future Reiki I Training classes

Although you may be wondering how we are going to get everything on this list done in a one-day class, it is important to understand that energetic modalities are most easily learned experientially. So even though lecture and handout materials will be components of the day's agenda, you will also have large blocks of time for hands-on practice to more fully integrate this course of study.

Rest assured that after completing Reiki I you will have all the necessary tools to develop your personal Reiki practice.
